New direction??

Hi all! 

It's been a long time since I've blogged. I've been thinking about the direction I'd like to take this and I'm thinking of just focusing on what makes me happy - music and fashion! And probably anime dudes, lets be real.

I tried blogging about more serious topics, but I find there's too much seriousness in the world. So I'm going to indulge myself in topics that bring me joy and distract me from the more serious side of life.

Recently, I've been getting back into Gyaruo fashion. I used to wear this style a lot, between Visual Kei looks. I still switch between the two, but I've been really vibing with Y2K archive type looks these days. As I get older, I feel less like being edgy and being more refined and mature in the way I present myself. Gyaruo feels like that for me - like Visual Kei's less edgy cousin. I tend to want to wear little to no eye makeup and prefer to just do my base and contour.

Here's an example of some looks I pulled when I was younger, back when I was first interested in Gyaruo.

Since then, my brain has fully developed and I've transitioned to an entirely new gender! Crazy how big of a difference 10 years makes. I'm also in my blonde era.

 

I'd really like to decide on a substyle but for now I'm having fun doing my own thing. Any suggestions on substyles would be appreciated!

I'm kinda just yapping at this point but what is the point of a blog if not to yap?

Anyways, I hope I can share my thoughts on the stuff I love on here and I hope it can brighten your day in some way, or something.
